TOWARDS TOTAL DEMATERIALIZATION OF THE AGENT FILE
ÎLE-DE-FRANCE REGIONAL COUNCIL

THE SOLUTION
SAVE TIME AND REINVENT YOURSELF
12,000 agents, 12,000 files, an average of 300 sheets per file and 560 linear meters to move… The Île-de-France Region chose to solve this multi-figure equation when it moved from Paris to its new premises in Saint-Ouen. And what better way to optimize its new premises and modernize its activities than by dematerializing its agents’ files? This is a major preoccupation for local authorities who, by eliminating paper, also intend to achieve significant economies of scale. At the same time, they are rethinking the way they do business.
Already a user of the ASTRE RH solution and a partner of Inetum Software for several years, the Île-de-France region has once again placed its trust in Inetum Software to achieve its objectives.
By opting for Gecco-RH, ASTRE’s integrated EDM, the Regional Council digitized all file documents, then integrated them into the software. The result: much less time spent searching for, sorting and filing files. Going paperless also means saving space and drastically reducing paper-related expenses.
But total dematerialization has many other virtues. Among them, the opportunity for HR department staff to telework with complete peace of mind, since they can consult the files they need wherever they are. This is all the more interesting given that at the Île-de-France region, it is possible to work from home two days a week. With Gecco, we’re on course for the development of digital functions!
And what’s next?
Again in partnership with Inetum Software, the Conseil Régional is considering setting up an agent portal. The aim is to give all staff direct access to HR documents concerning them. An additional service to be added to the HR department’s credit in the near future.
And what if the shift to dematerialization also allowed us to refocus on our core business? One of the long-term projects of the personnel administration department is to reorganize. Gone is the time-consuming paperwork: welcome to high value-added tasks!
“We have to embrace digitalization! It’s a tremendous step forward, a real driving force for moving on to other management techniques.”
